This is a hands-on course that provides team leaders and managers with the best practices and tools needed to increase attainment of co-located or remote team's goals by providing a user-friendly model and helpful templates. Participants will learn the essential team fundamentals inherent to high performing teams and apply these strategies to solve their own team challenges. Managers will increase their ability to create virtual team environments that bring more unity and productivity across states, differing cultures, cross functional teams and internationally. Leaders will learn to diagnose challenges when teams become "stuck" or are underperforming and utilize coaching techniques, assessments and performance management strategies to get performance back on track.
Managers and Leaders who manage or hope to manage both co-located, virtual and/or cross functional teams in the future. Employees from any virtual or cross-functional team that would like to increase their teams productivity and functionality.
With even more individuals and teams working remotely or in hybrid situations, it’s important for manager and leaders to find ways to creative cohesive teams that function well despite geographical, cultural and cross functional challenges. Managers need to continue to find ways to motivate and inspire their teams remotely through a variety of changing individual and team dynamics.
In the office location, we can collect a lavish amount of social and subliminal information about our leaders, colleagues and the organization. This makes it easier for managers and teams to maintain clear and synchronous communication. Remotely, we are limited to short Zoom calls, phone and emails, making it more difficult to build trust and rapport, and to create an inclusive team culture.
In order for team leads to create more momentum, harmony, connection and positive energy, managers need to be more thoughtful of how they communicate, enhance team morale and build relationships with their teams remotely. Additionally, it is best practice to consistently create opportunities for team members to socialize and collaborate informally.
Overall, working from home is sustainable in the long term, but it requires managers and employees to make some adjustments.
