This webinar will focus on the impact that toxic people have on an organization. During the webinar, the characteristics of the toxic employee will be described, and the three types of toxic employees identified with a profile of the kinds of behaviors they engage in. An emphasis will be placed on their impact on the productivity and morale of the organization. Toxic employees will be compared with difficult employees and how a difficult employee can become a toxic employee.
Strategies for dealing with toxic and difficult employees will be introduced. In addition, information will be presented on workplace bullies and how to deal with them. As part of the webinar, how to talk to toxic and difficult employees will be presented in several easy steps. A number of proactive interventions with toxic employees will be explored. There will be a focus on interventions at the organizational and team levels.
Those attending this webinar will learn how to deal with the toxic employee. This will include learning how to have a conversation with them and what steps to take if their behavior persists. Webinar participants will understand what is behind their behavior and the urgency in dealing with the toxic situation. Participants will learn how to deal with toxic employees at every level of the organization.
During the webinar, practical how-to steps will be discussed so those in the organization have the tools to deal with a toxic work environment. Multiple strategies to deal with this type of employee will be introduced. These include being able to recognize a toxic work environment and taking the remedial steps necessary to deal with it.

In addition, Bob is a Visiting Professor at a private University. Bob has worked with the United States Postal Service, Veterans Administration, Transportation Security Administration, and the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission as a mediator and consultant. He has also consulted with local, state, and private employers, government agencies, churches, and nonprofit organizations. Bob has a Ph.D. in Conflict Resolution and a Juris Doctorate degree.
